On February 2nd 2018, United World College in Maastricht celebrates its International Peace Conference. I’m honored that I’m invited to attend and look forward to an interesting afternoon. This year, the theme is ‘A matter of choice’.
The International Peace Conference is a unique, student-run initiative which strives to promote the idea that peace most certainly can be a reality. Through student-led workshops, international speakers and panel debates, 400 students aged 16-20 gain a broader view of what peace means today.
